Everything you enter in Prometheus — including your date and time of birth and your life-expectancy setting — is stored locally on your device (and, if you use the Apple Watch app, on your paired watch). It is never sent to our servers. There are no accounts and no sign-in.
Prometheus uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, which screens are opened and which features are used. This data is pseudonymous usage data tied to a random app instance identifier; we do not collect your name, email address, or birth date through analytics. We use it solely to improve the app, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising. You can read how Google processes this data in Firebase's privacy documentation.
If you use the share features (such as sharing a card to Instagram Stories or Reels), the image or video is created on your device and handed directly to the app you choose. We never see or store what you share.
Your birth data never leaves your device, so deleting the app deletes it. To request deletion of pseudonymous analytics data associated with your app instance, or for any other privacy question, contact us at the email address above.
We may update this privacy policy. The most recent version will always be available on this page.
